Muslims kidsshould learn these Hadiths. In an authentic Hadith, prophet Mohammad says: “ The best of your days is Friday. On a Friday, Adam was created. On another Friday, Adam was admitted into paradise. On a Third Friday, Adam was expelled out of Paradise. And on a Friday, the Hour will occur.” So Friday is a significant week day in Islam.
Friday is a Muslimkidand adult’s weekly spiritual feast. So Friday has its own etiquette, which a Muslimkidshould learn. A Muslimkid should prepare themselves for such a feast. Friday night is a special one. It is recommended that a Muslimkidsends the greetings to prophet Mohammad all night long and all over Friday. Also, it is better for a Muslimkidand adult to read surah al-Kahf on Thursday night and on Friday till before prayer time on Friday.
What should a Muslim kid and adult do till the Friday prayer ?
A Muslimkidand adult should have a wash on Friday. A Muslimkidand adult should wear some perfume before heading for the Mosque on Friday. A Muslimkid and adult should wear their best attire and look their best on Friday. The favorite color of clothes Muslimkidsand adults should wear on Friday is the white color. A Muslim should head for the mosque fairly early before the prayer time.
What a Muslim should do in the mosque:
When a Muslimkidor adult has arrived at the Mosque, he enters, his right foot first. When a Muslimkidenters through the door of the mosque, he is recommended to say this Dua’a: “ Bismillah wassalatu Wassalamu Ala Rasuli Allah. Allahumma as aluka min Fadlika ”. Now that the Muslim kidhas entered the mosque, he performs two brief rakat as a greeting to the mosque. If time allows, he sits reading the Holy Quran. Others may just sit remembering and mentioning Allah. Other worshipers may send their greetings to prophet Mohammad till the Imam, Khateeb or orator climbs up the mimber to give the Friday sermon or khutbah.
What we should do during the khutbah:
Now that the Imam is giving his khutbah, the worshiper just sits listening very carefully and attentively. In the brief sitting between the two khutbas, the worshiper invokes Allah asking Allah to forgive him and fulfill all his personal religious and worldly needs. At the end of the second khutbah, the Imam invokes Allah on behalf of himself, all the worshipers present and the Muslims worldwide. The role of the worshiper is to raise his hands saying: “Ameen”. from the depths of his heart.
The two rakat of al-Jumah:
Then the Imam leads the Friday prayer. The Imam prays two rakats during which he reads the Holy Quran audibly and aloud. As soon as the prayer has ended, the worshiper leaves the mosque peacefully and quietly. At this point, the worshiper feels the favor and satisfaction of Allah.
